2. QUERY ON WAGE SHEETS FROM ANNFIELD PLAIN – discussion took place, it was agreed that the breakdown of wages/hours worked/training be clearly shown weekly to allow all officials to be able to explain the workings
3. Proposal that audit is done by 2 members of the WDA, if 2 willing and competent members come forward to save external auditors fee’s.

1. MINUTES – Passed as true record
2. Y/B SALE – Thu 27th March @ Bear Park. Penning 7p.m. to 8 p.m. Proceeds to WDA with £100 Breeder & £100 Buyer to first YB sold in auction timed at YB Nat. All Fed Sec’s remind all WDA Members are asked to donate. Proceeds after first £200 go to running of WDA to keep Fees/basket prices down.
3. ELECTION OF 5 FOR EMERGENCY COMMITTEE – Committee consists of Peter Matthews (Chief Convoyer), Martin Wade (CF), Steven Meadows (T & D) Alan Brown (WDA Pres) & Tony Coils (DV). Normal races first 3 decide, in case of change of racepoint etc. all 5 consulted. Alan Brown will try his best to have decision on the WDA libline/Website by 08:00 a.m. of day of despatch and result of vote.
4. REPORT ON NEHU RACES- to be decided at NEHU Meeting on the 25th February
5. YEARLING CLASSIC:- CHARGES – 50p Nom in top of birdage. Not compulsory.
6. COVER FOR CHIEF CONVOYER IN CASE OF EMERGENCY – S Walton vs Advertise externally – 260+ votes for S Walton – 220+ votes for advertise externally. S Walton appointed Emergency cover in case of absence of Chief Convoyer due to ill health etc.
7. DRIVER TRAINING – required by Sept 2014 by Rob Walton, P Matthews and Joe

FINANCE MEETING (proposals from finance meeting to be voted on by Federations)
1. SECRETARY EXPENSES – recommendation is £2000 same as 2013
2. WAGES – requires current figures to be clarified
3. TRAINING – Self supporting, blocks of 5 at £20 per loft for 5 tosses. Names of members requiring transporter training must be in from Fed Secretary to Brian Ford before Training commences and to advise who has trained daily to ensure correct revenue is obtained and that members pay for the facilities used. This information to be made available to all Feds.
4. BASKET CHARGES – No increase from 2013 £13.50 per basket
5. NATIONAL RACES – with Maidstone being 20 birds a basket President advised at 60p a pigeon revenue will decrease as will prize money, suggestion was to recommend to members a 10p a pigeon increase to 70p per pigeon for Maidstone OB & YB, amendment from Darlington Sec Sacriston that the increase be 5p a pigeon to make it 65p. Proposal was passed 7 votes to 3 to recommend the increase of 10p a pigeon.

6. WDA Fees – No increase from 2013

For info, thanks to the efforts of Richard Wade the advertising space has been sold in the Handbook for a number of businesses, Alan Brown has been busy designing the adverts for the Printer, at the moment if confirmation from last couple of advertisers is received this will generate £1,300 to WDA Funds.
