Tuesday 11,00 Alan Brown rang about weather forecast for weekend ,I told him I thought it was not a very good forecast all weekend with a chance of not getting a race or we can get one Friday as it is a good forecast . Alan called in emergency committee and checked with both Rob Walton re transport and Brian Ford regarding the availability of site. Emergency committee voted 5 to 0 to go Thursday for a Friday race.

Thurs 7,45 rang Martin Wade ,Stephen Meadows vote was 3 to 0 to go informed Alan Brown

6,45 arrived at yard set off picking up Cockfield and West Durham and back to yard ,Sorted trailer and wagons set off at 9, 00 with 2 wagons and 1 trailer collecting Darlington on way ,arrived on site at 4,40 ,opened up and water on by 5,00

Up at 7,15 birds fully opened up by 7,30 ,low mist with blue skies above and no wind

Wind picking up during morning ,birds liberated at 11,00 in a south east wind ,birds clearing very well

Back to yard by 9,20 ,baskets going to go back Saturday
