Due to Peter Mathews being unavailable to travel on Friday and Sam Walton being at work Dan Jenkins took charge of the birds with Peter being in contact via his phone on Saturday

Fri morning ,Peter rang Martin Wade and Stephen Meadows ,vote was 3 to 0 for birds to go.,Peter informed Alan Brown

Wagons met at Barton with 2 wagons and 1 trailer leaving at 11 ,due to road closures and diversions not on site until 2,00

Birds watered and opened up by 2,30

Sat birds fully opened up by 6,45 ,2 other organisations on site ,one liberated at 8,30 one at 9,00

Liberated birds at 9,35 in a light North west wind

Set off back into yard by 6,00 pm
