How special is tbe Queens Cup race

At times all organisations go through rough patches and the up north combine seem to be having their moment and everyone is getting blamed for bird losses .i am glad the W D A only seem to worry about the first 4 young bird races ,which seems to be the major topic each year.
As for the officials of the WDA i havent heard anyone wanting to get the hangmans rope out,but the durham combine seems to be fragmenting ,
But wherever clubs end up, the PInnacle in the North East for quite a few fanciers is the queens cup race ,not to race as an amal but open to the whole of the nehu.
So if the UNC dont get their act together--should measures be put in place to allow UNC members to basket at WDA federation marking stations.
OFFICIALLY--WHATS YOUR THOUGHTS?
Not bothered what you sprint men think but its the guys that prepare birds for years for one race is the open result the goal,
If the WDA didnt fly this race woiuld you put birds on at UNC if they offered to allow it ?
Should open races be abandoned in the NEHU?
