yb groups as you were

At the special meeting last night after a long discussion regarding groups it was was proposed and seconded that the young birds would be liberated all up to gether.
Those feds in favour were T/D, N'CASTLE, SAC, A/PLAIN and W/DURHAM = 248 FOR, 242 AGAINST.
The main reason [I.M.O.] THIS WAS PASSED WAS THE FACT THAT THERE WAS NEVER GOING TO BE AGREEMENTS ON WHO WENT IN 2 GROUPS
no doubt plenty of comments will be made on here, KEEP IT CIVIL

Hopefully put it to bed now. Don't get me wrong would of liked east west but like you say no one would ever agree. It's done we need to move on

Agree, put it to bed and move on

Why couldn't the 5 feds that wanted the youngsters
All up together go as one group and the other 5 feds form
The second group let's not forget these are youngsters and our future.

If that were to happen I would bet double money that the West Durham Fed would want to be in the other group and not the all up together group.
Any member attending the meeting would have come to the conclusion that the 2 groups were never going to work
Take North &South, Consett stated under no circumstances were they going to go in the North group,
Darlington did not want Consett in the South Group
At the end of the discussions it was obvious we were getting no where, I advised Alan Brown to take a vote on who wanted to go all up together [it had already been proposed and seconded], the vote was taken and all up together was passed.
You would never think that the 1st 4 yb races could cause so many arguments, upheaval and bad feeling,
I do not know the answer but I do know from a business point of view its not good

Could be worst thing to happen to the WDA---lets hope this isnt the start of a crack in the amal ,wonder if frankie is considering getting the war drums out.

T Ovington

Yes Terry but this time I'm in another gear

Frank can get the war drums out as long as the rest of the fed members are all playing the same tune
Can't wait to see Frank in feathers and war paint

can the poor turn out for fed B B sale be put down to the WDA all up together decision .. about a dozen birds ( ) but who will spend good money on birds we will never see again after first couple of races >
our top flyer last few years has already declared his YB will not be raced & he was one of the few that had ago last year until forced to stop by massive losses .financial damage to club may not be manageable .WDA finance committee must have a crystal ball ?
doe,s not look good for club forthcoming sale ? those first 4 yb races cause so much trouble / because they hold they key to much of the future of all our lofts
gonna be interesting season !!! good luck !!

Pigeon men are killing there own sport for there own self
Gain not the birds of pray or the obstacles the birds overcome to get home but man himself.

.

WE ARE GETTING IT WRONGE AGAIN.
THE Y\BIRD LOSSES IS A DIFERENT SUBJECT.
IM BANGING THE DRUMS BECAUSE IM GETTING BAD TREATMENT AND THERE IS NOT ONE REASON FOR IT,WHY THE EASTERN FEDS WANT THE WESTERN FEDS WITH THEM I DONT KNOW,
I CAN ONLY THINK OF ONE REASON THAT IS TO HELP STRAIGHTEN THIERS UP AS THEY WILL HAVE PREVAILING WEST WINDS AS WELL.

You claim your receiving bad treatment. It s time you stopped this nonsence. Twice a meeting of democratically elected reprosentatives have found in favour of all up together. What is wrong with you that you cant grasp this. You say war drums you are trying to undermine the will of the people. You are making yourself into a laughing stock. Come the first race the birdage WILL be as most years previous. If that doesn't include you, SO be it.

EVERYONES DUE TO THIER OPINION Frank

can anyone tell me what the actual wording was on the special meeting agenda ?
I thought a meeting that i expected to have two proposals on the agenda --all up together or something different-[ back to clubs for proposals]
if this is right why was other options even discussed --was this another way of confusing the issue ?
the meeting should of lasted 10 mins at most.
was anyone mandated to vote on groups?
would be interesting to find out how much revenue would be lost if consett fed elect to get get transported by another courier, surely at these short races most revenue is made.

We employ the drivers and as such they liberate as we see fit.
now tell me why it is so important to tyne and derwent or sacriston or any fed that they need to have richmond or crook liberated with their birds.
Frank could you please have the courtesy to inform the amal if your getting transported elsewhere so transport arrangements can be altered by officials.

this could result in lost revenue and the knock on effect could be dearer basket charges in the long run.
