NEHU, T.RIDDLE, BHW

Following another ANTI-WDA article in the British Homing World by Mr T. Riddle I thought I would give our members a little info

The NEHU organised a race from Ypres in 2014, A total farce having to stop the traffic on the main road while they released the pigeons into the tree's, remember the video ?

Since that race they have had 4 years to organise the next race, The W.D.A. received the race proposals from ALL Federations to be put forward to the PRE-AGM, These were voted on to go onto the AGM agenda, The last channel race was voted to be ARRAS

Mr T Riddle attended these meetings as Tyne & Derwent Fed Secretary, He is also a Vice President of the NEHU and he never once mentioned YPRES as an alternative or that the NEHU were planning anything.

I went ahead and booked the channel programme and applied and paid for the permits and received them

I was then informed by the NEHU that they were going to race from YPRES for the last channel race and would I try and convince our members to go, I informed them we had voted to go to ARRAS and that YPRES had been mentioned at our finance meeting and the DELEGATES were against it

After further contact from the NEHU and their concerns that we were not going to YPRES I contacted Alan Brown and informed him I would contact each Federation and ask for their members opinions, some Feds said they had already rejected YPRES at the finance meeting, I informed them that the DELEGATES had rejected it but the MEMBERS needed to be consulted and they were in favour of YPRES

3/4 weeks before the YPRES race Alan Brown attended a NEHU meeting and I asked him afterwards what was happening about YPRES, he said THEY HAD STILL TO FIND A SITE !!!!, I had no permit, no licence and could only think MAIN ROAD and TREES, they had 4 years to find a site, shambles comes to mind. WE WENT TO ARRAS.

Mr T. Riddle mentions in his race reports that we had 2 channel races that were DISASTERS, If he takes his head out of the sand and stops being a keyboard warrior he may notice that the same is happening all over the country or is he only picking the races when PETER MATTHEWS is in charge

Being a keyboard warrior cost Mr T Riddle his position as President of the WDA but NO LESSON WAS LEARNT
