This will be followed by a short service at Mountsett Crem. after which friends and relatives are invited back to Garesfield Golf club Post code NE17 7AP. to remember and celebrate Alan's life.

It is with great sadness that I must inform the fancy that Alan passed away earlier today. Alan had tenanciously battled a number of health problems in recent years. A popular character Alan always remained cheerful and loved racing his birds from the start of the season to the end. He had successfully raced in Chopwell HS for many years and will be sadly missed by all the members.
On behalf of our members I offer our sincere condolences to Alan's family.
