We understand that many of you at this time of year will have vaccinated, or are about to vaccinate, your pigeons against paramyxovirus, which can significantly harm their health.

The following trophies are to be competed for during the 2017 season. Entries for each trophy are to be submitted to the North of England Homing Union office before October 13th 2017.

Bucktons Trophy
To be presented for the: Best Individual Racing Pigeon owned by an NEHU member.
Nominations for this trophy to be submitted to the Union Office by October 13th 2017
This trophy to be held for 12 months and replica to be retained by the winner.

Open to all WDA members to buy and race.

Peter Mathews had a conversation with Vince Border about a possible liberation site in Castleford

Castleford is located just north of Pontefract

Peter and Vince visited the site this morning , the site itself was on a hill with clear views for many miles to the north ,however the access to the site for our vehicles was totally unsuitable , so we will keep on trying
