Well today ends another season I would just like to say some big thank yous to everyone who makes the Amalgamation tick
To the weather committee Martin , Stephen and Peter for doing their homework and getting the decisions right
To Convoyer Peter who is totally committed to trying to get the best racing possible for the members
To Dan for being deputy convoyer and working each week to get the wagons cleaned and prepared for racing
To regular drivers Ian ,Darren and Karl ,plus regular helper David plus all others who have helped out.

Fri 5,00 arrived at yard picked up Crook, Cockfield,West Durham and Darlington,meet up with other wagons and went to racepoint with 1 wagon and a trailer arrived on site at 1.00 am birds opened up and watered by 1,30
Sat up at 6,30
7.00 full cloud cover on site
8.00 full cloud cover on site ok on route
8,45 90% cloud 10 % blue skies,birds liberated in a light west south west wind ,cleared well except for about 150 which circled site for about a minute
