Fri 7.45 Alan Brown , Martin Wade ,Stephen Meadows all voted to delay race by 24 hours

Sat 2.00 arrived at yard went out to pick up West Durham and Cockfield
6.00 2 wagons and 1 trailer left yard at Maidstone for 2.30 ,wagons opened and birds watered by 3.15
Sun , up at 6.00 ,gates opened at 7.00 and moved onto site ,checked all drinkers
Weather on site ok, line of flight had patches of fog and overcast skies
10.00 line of flight weather improving slowly
