Fri 7,55 am Alan Brown rang my vote was to go, Alan had already spoken to Martin and Stephen vote was 3 to 0 to go
5,30 pm arrived at yard ,set off picking up Deerness Valley ,West Durham and Darlington ,arriving at Barton at 10,05
Set off to race point at 11,30 with 2 wagons and 1 trailer , getting to site at 4,55 ,birds watered and opened up by 5,30
Sent a text to Alan saying no word until 9,00 giving birds time to rest
7,15 Clear blue skies with a cool North west wind ,rang my contacts saying very good condions on route
