First wagon arrived at 1230 1oclock last wagon arrived 2 10 am birds watered up by 2 30 curtains buckles were loosen due to rain expected during the night. 7am weather on site full cloud cover update at 8. O'clock same as before update at 9.
9oclock weather improving breaks of blue high cloud very bright but no sun visibility was excellent birds were then liberated 9 10 in a fresh West North West wind turning strong North West in places on route. Line of flight Grantham, Newark Worksop, Doncaster, Wetherby, Ripon, Darlington, Bishop Auckland, Cockfield, Crook, Consett, Stanley, Newcastle
