Arrived at yard 3 o'clock, the wagon arrived at 3 10 with a problem it involving smoke coming from the rear passenger side wheels and could smell of burning due to this we didn't want to take any chances so we transhipped the baskets on to one of the other wagons available in the yard. Left yard at 3 45pm. Arrived at huntingdon 8 05 for our 45 min break during this time troughs were put on so the birds could travel down with drinkers on. 8 50 set back off to Maidstone. 12 20am Arrived at the gates but couldn't gain access so had to park outside until 6 30 when the gates opened. 7oclock park on site let the birds settle for 1 hour. 8oclock birds liberated in a Strong South West wind sunshine broken cloud. Line Of flight Essex, Huntingdon, Peterborough, Grantham, Worksop, Doncaster, Wetherby, Ripon, Darlington, Bishop Auckland, Cockfield, Crook, Consett, Stanley, Newcastle
