Racepoint Huntingdon (Jubilee Park)
Sunday at 6.00pm arrived in yard baskets from WD and CF were transhipped on to trailer, left yard at 7.10pm to continue picking up remaining clubs. 10.20pm I had a phone call from UNC chief convoyer to say that huntingdon racecourse is getting some redevelopment done resulting in the WDA might find it hard to park on site, I spoke with Brian Ford and we both agreed that the other only available option we had was to go to jubilee Park. All wagons arrived on site for Midnight. All birds watered and curtains opened and shutters were lifted by 00 30am. 6 30am blue skies and sun just starting to come up but waiting to here from UNC decided to put it back till 9 o'clock. 8 45am birds liberated in a South West wind clear blue skies and sunshine cleared excellent. We noticed broken canes on the back of these Club baskets, West Auckland, Esh Winning also we had problems with fronts of baskets from Annfield plain. Also 1 basket from Tindale Crescent was missing 3 strings on the front. All club secretaries/basket man have been notified to solve these problems so that they don't happen in the future. We also brought a pigeon back with us due to it been injured. I would just like to say thanks to Gary and Vince from DC with helping us to liberated.
