Fri morning ,in view of poor weather forecasts and the Eastbourne Classic going on Thursday it was decided to go for Huntingdon on Sunday

Sat 7.45 spoke to Martin and Stephen ,vote was 2 to 1 to go

Sat morning ,in view of weather forecast for Huntingdon and Peterborough area showing not much chance of an early liberation it was decided to go to Newark with the weather forecast showing chance for liberation for about 9.00

Sat arrived at yard at 2.00 ,picked up Deerness Valley ,part West Durham, Cockfield and Darlington ,arrived at Leeming bar for 8.10
Set off with 3 wagons and 2 trailers arrived on site at 11.45 ,birds watered and opened up by 12.15
Sun up at 6.00. Full cloud cover on site and most of route,
9.00 ok on site poor from Wakefield north with patches of drizzle.
9.30 still drizzle at home end ,clearing on route
10.30 birds liberated in a fresh north wind ,still patches of drizzle at home end but forecast to clear
