Thurs , Alan , Martin and Stephen voted not to go ,I was still away

Fri rang Martin , Alan rang Stephen vote was for birds to go

Arrived at yard at 7.20 ,set off at 8.30 with 1 wagon and trailer picking up Darlington on the way

Arrived at Dover at 3.50 , on ferry at 4.20 arrived on site at 9.20 ,birds watered and opened up by 10.00

Lots of race birds travelling through on Saturday lunchtime.

Sunday there was liberations due at Arras,Noyon and Clermont,Dutch and Belgian, so we decided to liberate early to beat them out .Forecast for cloudless skies to Dover, then heavy cloud ,isolated showers in London area,then broken skies through to home,with a chance of a shower after lunch ,good or very good visibility
Sunday 4.45 all 3 Convoyers agreed to go early to avoid clashing, birds liberated at 5.45 in a very light south west wind ,clear blue skies birds clearing very well
Left site at 6.45
