Friday. 7.45 Alan rang Martin had problems contacting Stephen, vote was 2 to 0 not to go , Alan spoke to Stephen later who also voted not to go

Saturday 7.45 ,rang Martin ,Alan rang Stephen vote was 2 to 1 to go ,forecast was for it to be cloud or occasional showers midlands area on Monday

Saturday 4.00 ,picked up Cockfield and West Durham,back to yard ,sorted baskets into 1 wagon and trailer left at 7.30 picking up darlington on the way , arrived at Dover for 2.30 ,birds watered on to ferry for 3.20 arrived in France at 5.00 ,on site at 7.00 ,birds watered and opened up by 7.30
4.00 pm birds fed and rewatered, 8.00 water checked and topped up

Monday ,up at 6.00 ,cloud and rain travelling down country ,birds held over, ,4.00 birds fed and rewatered , water checked and topped up at 8.00

Tuesday ,up at 5.00 ,rain radar showing showers in Kent and Calais areas ,7.00 rain starting to clear in Kent but still in front of us ,blue skies on site ,8.45 rain disapating and bright in front ,birds liberated at 9.15 in a fresh north north west wind

Birds scattered straight after liberation into 3 groups ,one going west ,one north, and one west ,seemingly without reason
Setting off back at 10,15 , good skies all way home ,channel clear ,could see Dover, sea had only a slight swell
