Sat 7.45 rang Stephen and Martin vote was that we were unable to get a race from 100 mile plus so emergency committee was called and it was agreed to go to Wakefield to get a race Stephen was against going but agreed with Wakefield

Sat 4.00 went to yard picked up Deerness Valley ,West DUrham, Crook and Cockfield arrived at Leeming for10pm
4 wagons and 1 trailer on site by 12,10 birds watered and opened up by 12,40
Sunday up at 6,00 broken skies ,good on route showers developing at home end
Good skies and liberated birds at 8,30 in a cold north north east wind ,
Birds cleared well
