The RPRA have put a notice on their website after last nights government announcement saying as follows
After the announcement, the President ,Vice Presidents and Chief Executive were having an online meeting to discuss what was said and to try to provide an update regarding training and racing
Further discussions are planned for today ( Monday ) with the Chair of the All Party Parliament Group for Pigeon Racing
The notice points out that training is strictly prohibited, and anyone doing so may be jeopardising the chances of agreeing a start date
The notice also states the RPRA have developed a protocol for race marking and has been approved by the RPRA Council and submitted to the Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Pigeon Racing
The notice also stresses that there are no guarantees
From a WDA perspective when racing does get a go ahead we need to have arrangements made as to how and where clubs do the race marking as there seems no way that pubs and clubs will be open
If I have any further updates I will post them
