Just an update on what’s happened today , I received a phone call from Pam at the UNC to say that they were now not going with George Nelson to Gien and were going with their own wagon as well as that they were changing the date to go on Thursday 23rd to liberate on Sunday 26th .
During the course of the day I have had many telephone discussions and this evening it has been agreed that the WDA ,Durham Combine and the New North Amal will be convoyed by George Nelson to Gien, birds will go as previously agreed on Sunday 26 th and planned to liberate on Wednesday 29th which was the previously agreed dates ,
As previously posted birds will be brought to Crook and collected by George Nelson.
This means as the UNC have pulled out the race is not a NEHU race .
As in previous year when the 3 organisations have raced there will be a £10 nom .
Further details and pick up times will be announced next week
