Well lads the first challenge AP1 to AP10 was won by Gilbert bros this one was only open to Annfield Plain fed.
The second challenge Ring AP 11 to AP20 has been open to the WDA boundaries to be flown at the young bird national , and the ten rings were soon sold ,now the race is nearly upon us I have been asked how many still have their bird —sorry I don’t know and will await for claims after the race ,I can tell you I do have my entry AP 13 and fingers crossed she makes Friday night basketing.i can say the rings were sold out front to esh ,to the east sacriston ,to the west consett and to the north Newcastle .
A copy of the rules are available to any competitor but I need a race entry sheet as well as a clocking sheet with any claim signed by their club officials and all distances will be checked with the NEHU.
There is only one prize —£1000 (10 rings x£100 to give 1000 pound prize)
Race will close at 10 pm on night of race if no bird clocked all entry money returned.
If no claims made race void and all entry money returned if the competitor sent or did not,
Any objection to the result will be heard by at least a quorum of the competitors and their decision to be final and binding.
All claim birds will be verified, this means liberated from its loft and return under its own steam (flying).
Dead birds or birds unable to fly will be deemed unsatisfactory verification and disqualified.
All birds to be raced to a loft inside the WDA boundaries .
All ten rings were sold to ten different lofts so we all have the same odds ,9 to 1 if all birds make it to race.
NO SUBSTITUTE rings ,only AP 11 to AP20 rings can race for the £1000 prize.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL COMPETITORS
