Rules
Race will be flown from the WDA YB National 2026
Prize money
Winlaton HS to retain 10% of all monies taken after expenses
Payout from prize fund will then be –(all prizes split 50-50 breeder and buyer )
1st prize 40%
2nd prize 20%
3rd prize 10%
4th -6th prize-5%
7-10th 2.5%
There will also be a prize of 5% for the best performing BB yb –( all races of WDA yb programme count. Points system, 4 for 1st, 3 for 2nd, 2 for 3rd & 1 for 4th, against BB birds.)
A maximum of 3 entries per loft / partnership allowed
Cost of entry is £15 per bird, birds to be sold at auction with an opening bid of £30 per bird
All entries to be be paid for before auction
If no buyer the breeder is to buy the bird back
If breeder buys their own back and they do not fly in the WDA it will be their responsibility to find someone to fly it on their behalf
Payout of prizes will be at Winlaton HS presentation evening 2026
Auction sale dates (max 60 entries per date ) to be confirmed,
(There may also be an online auction after the scheduled sales dependent on number of entries. If bird flu restrictions all sales will be on line. )
