A great turn out yesterday for the show for the 1st inland Nat with 99 birds entered £247.50 entry plus £265.10 pools Total in £512.60 with £44.60 paid out to show winners leaving £468 to fly for, this will be paid out 123 for the race. Just had some devestating news that Kenny Noble has passed away recently ...Having being poorly for the last few years ...From a very cruel illness, A lovely man / who was already missed down the club ....A hard grafter / all his working life .never got the chance to enjoy his retirement ,
well known in the pigeon world / around darlington / richmond
May he now rest in peace .

Have spoken to Nehu office, as per yesterdays announcement on government update re bird flu ,birds are now allowed to be let out ,but please be vigilant , shows and sales can be held under existing general licence , that is notify defra with details before hand

I've just read the document entitled Avian influenza (bird flu) on the government website and it now states the following:

Pigeons or birds of prey
You can still fly pigeons or birds of prey, but you should try to keep them away from making direct contact with (or catching) wildfowl. Keep a close watch on the health of your birds.
