HELPING A FRIEND

Brian Denham West Auckland homing society.
It is with sorrow and sadness that I'm writing this post.
After racing season finished Brian who is a regular visitor to our lofts said he and his wife SHELLEY were looking forward to a weekend away at Blackpool
A few days after arriving back Shelley felt unwell and she was a Care worker took the covid test which came back positive which meant Brian and Shelley at to isolate .Shelley became increasingly unwell and was admitted to Darlington hospital and had to be put in a special ventilator after about a week with not much improvement a decision had to be made to put Shelley in an induced comer whilst all this was going on Brian and the family were unable to visit the hospital.Brian kept informing our Martin and myself of the situation on Saturday 31st October after speaking to Brian he informed me there was some improvements and they had reduced the oxygen level.
Sadly on Sunday Brian received a phone from the hospital asking him to go straight to the hospital.Sadly on Sunday afternoon SHELLEY aged 48 years old passed away.Brian and Shelley met each other both aged 15 and have been together for 33years Shelley a much loved mother to their daughter Bryni and grand mother.Several years ago Shelley needed a kidney transplant with Brian donating his own kidney.Shelley was much loved by all her family and friends with whom worked in caring for the elderly.
For this reason I am organising a small but select sale of approximately 17 lofts who have agreed to support 1 of our own the sale will be held on a face book site very shortly all details will be shown once I've finalised it.
I would like to thanks those lofts who are giving their support.
From all the members of West Auckland homing society we offer our condolences and will support Brian and the family
Rest in peace SHELLEY DENHAM
