Thurs 7.45 ,rang Martin and Stephen vote was 3 to 0 to go ,rang Alan

Thursday at yard for 6.00 picked up Cockfield and West Durham ,then back to yard set off with 2 wagons and 2 trailers collecting Darlington on the way

Travelled to Peterborough and stopped at 2.30 , opened up birds and put water on
1 wagon had a brake problem ,called out fitter who fitted new part ,
We now use Alan Sewell at Evenwood for the wagons and he has a 24 hour service using contacts throughout the country.
Left Peterborough at 11.00 arrived at Eastbourne at 2.15 pm Friday
Birds watered and opened up left water on for 2 hours then fed the birds and rewatered
Sat 6.00am raining on site
7.00 stopped raining but low cloud with poor visibility
8.00 low cloud ,poor visibility
11.00 low cloud poor visibility
1.00 low cloud but breaking,poor visibility,held over
2.00 cloud and blue sky

8.30 rain stopped ,poor visibility
9.00 cloud breaking,visibility improving
10.05 birds liberated in a west south wes wind
Set off back at 11.00 ,broken skies on route all the way with some strong gusty winds
