Fri ,contacted Maidstone site and arranged to have gates opened at 5,00 am instead of 7,00 which would give me a opportunity to get an earlier liberation

Fri arrived at yard for 4,00 picked up Deerness Valley, West Durham , Crook and Cockfield Feds

Arrived at leeming at 8,30 travelled to race with 3 wagons and 1 trailer ,arrived at Maidstone at 2,30 birds opened up and watered by 3,00 , moved into site at 5,00 rechecked all waters by 5,30

6,00 sun not yet out but lots of blue skies ,good on route

6,45 Welsh birds liberated

7,10 liberated birds in no wind with variable winds on route ,birds cleared very well

Left site at 11,45 back to yard by 7,30 dropped Darlington baskets on way rest of baskets returned on Sunday morning
