Weather committee voted 3 to 0 not to go Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon,on Tuesday vote was 3 to 0 to go
Arrived at yard at 4.30 picked up Consett,went back to yard to transfer on to trailer ,set off with 1 wagon and trailer arrived on site at Wakefield at 11.00, birds opened up and watered by 11.30,
Wed ,up at 5.50 ok on site and home end poor visibility on route
7.00 poor on site and on route
7.30 decision made to move birds to Wetherby with other WDA birds doing the same as forecast shown poor weather coming from south ,better forecast closer to home end
Arrived at Wetherby 8.30 poor visibility on site but forecast to clear
10.00 good on site and on route
10.15 group 1 Newcastle,Tyne Derwent and Annfield Plain liberated in light south west wind clearing ok
10.30 group 2 Consett liberated split into 2 groups as in previous weeks
